Sparke: Denise Kern & Christine Saporito
All About Denise: I have been working in Island Trees for 29 years. I have been a Building Representative for 5 years. I teach First Grade in an ICT Classroom at Sparke.
All About Christine: I have been working in Island Trees for 31 years. I have been a Building Representative for 10 years. I teach Kindergarten at Sparke.
Stokes: Danielle Cerullo, Helen Kane, Geralynn Townsend
All About Danielle: My name is Danielle Cerullo and I am a Special Education Teacher at Stokes. I have been in education for 17 years and in our district for 9 years. This is my second year as a Building Representative. I look forward to continuing this work to support all the members of our building.
All About Helen: My name is Helen Kane and I am a Third Grade Teacher at Stokes. I have been working in our district for 30 years. I have been involved with the union throughout my career. I am currently a Building Representative and also the Health and Welfare Coordinator. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. I would be happy to help!
All About Geralynn: I have been teaching in Island Trees for the last 25 years. This is my 28th year of teaching. Throughout my years at Island Trees, I have held many roles within the Union, some of which being the Election Chairperson and Constitution Revision Committee Member. This is my second year of being a Building Representative at Stokes. I currently teach Third Grade in the ICT setting at Stokes School.
Island Trees Middle School: Dana Chester, Justine Gonzalez, Pam Losi, Michelle Hatzopoulos
All About Dana: This is my 9th year as a Special Education Teacher in Island Trees. In addition to being a building representative, I am also on the Professional Development Committee and am an advisor of the National Junior Honor Society.
All About Justine: This is my 27th year teaching. The majority of my years have been spent in the fifth grade. Prior to this, I was a middle school reading teacher and taught 6th grade in Brooklyn at the start of my career.
All About Pam: ITMMS has been my home away from home for the past 27 years.
All About Michelle: I’ve been teaching for 30 years, 28 of those at Island Trees.

All About Danielle: I work at the High School and teach AP Physics and Robotics. I have been teaching in Island Trees for 11 years. I am the girls varsity soccer coach and an advisor for the Robotics Club at the High School.
All About Brian: I have taught Social Studies in the district for 20 years at both the Middle and High School.
All About Jaclyn: I have been an English teacher at ITHS for 21 years. Currently, I teach English 10 AP-Prep and AP Research.
